CALL FOR ABSTRACT

The next International Symposium by SFC – 19th edition – will be held on December 2nd  – 3rd , 2025 in Paris.

Submit your abstract before September 10th, 2025 !

Science constantly challenges our views on beauty, health and well-being. New discoveries disrupt what we know and drive us to reset personal care strategies, evaluation standards, manufacturing processes and eventually the very narratives of beauty.

This year, venture to the rims of cosmetic science and open new perspectives for the future.

The perfect opportunity to present your research and innovations to over 200 scientists, researchers and R&D professionals, expected to attend the symposium on the following key topics:

1. Cutaneous biology: skin, scalp & hair / Innovative pathway & new biomarkers

2. Microbiotes:  viral & bacterial communities for skin & gut / Bacteriophages a new strategy for the skin

3. Cognitive science and Neuroscience

4. Novel functionals

5. New resources : biotechnology, extractions, plants & biomolecules, exosomes, microalgae, vertical farming, fermentation

6. New tools : AI / tissue engineering / evaluation (skin models, organoids, artificial skin…) / new technologies…

 

All the conferences of the Symposium, given in English, will combine both research work and the latest technical advances in the cosmetic field.

Any work that is related to animal testing will be disqualified

Any mentioning of commercial names is prohibited

The time allotted to each author is 20 minutes in total. We recommend that speakers allow 15 minutes for presentation, and 5 minutes for questions.

Registration to attend the Symposium is mandatory.
